Kazuki Takahashi's Yu-Gi-Oh is the new 'pokemon' in America. From Yu-Gi-Oh posters to Yu-Gi-Oh nail stickers, it's become a giant franchise network. But who knows when Yu-Gi-Oh will suddenly become 'uncool', and eventually slip away from television networks forever? It's only a matter of time. But before that happens, I want to get as much people as possible to read Kazuki's original work before they forget all about it. It started off as a manga airing weekly in a Japanese magazine, like most animes on American television. The original story of Yu-Gi-Oh has changed so much since it first began, and dubbers changed it even more when it reached America. Yu-Gi-Oh isn't just about dueling, it's about all types of board games and RPGs. For a reason I'll never understand, the dub is solely focused on the card game they like to play sometimes. The show has good morals for kids, but it doesn't go as deep as the manga, and most Yu-Gi-Oh fans are only getting half of the story. The first 5 mangas aren't even shown on tv. And for all of you non-Yu-Gi-Oh fans, I ask you to pick up the first volume at a comic or book store. It's not really a show for children above the age of seven like the parental suggesting says. Because it's not a 7+ tv show, people can't bleed, swear and die, like they do in the original. Most people would like Yu-Gi-Oh to be more violant, but just because the unedited version is usualy very violant and dark, it still has a great story line. And Yugi's 'evil' side isn't a good guy like he is on tv. There names aren't Tea Gardener, Joey Wheeler, and Tristan Taylor. I beg you, please get to know them as Anzu Mazaki, Katsuya Jonouchi and Hiroto Honda. And if you aren't interested in reading the comic, atleast look into the unedited anime. It's also in every monthly issue of Shonen Jump. If you aren't interested in purchasing anything, just take look in the magazine. When Yu-Gi-Oh stops airing on tv, and you get older, you can still like Yu-Gi-Oh. Because it's not a children's show. Please consider it.

If anyone has any questions about the unedited anime, please post!
